Around 8,300 people are diagnosed with mouth cancer each year in the UK, which is about 1 in every 50 cancers diagnosed.
Sadly, only slightly under 50% will survive the next five years because the disease wasn’t caught until it was already very advanced. Early detection is essential for surviving oral cancer, and the best way to catch it is to attend regular check-ups every six months.
Dr Julia is trained to spot even the slightest sign of cancerous tissues in your mouth, ensuring you are able to get the treatment you need as soon as possible.
